About Bill
I trained in theology at Yale Divinity School and was a UCC (United Church of Christ- Congregational) Minister for 16 years before attending Antioch Graduate School for Counseling Psychology.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and addiction counselor (LADC) with 14 years of experience.
Believing that there is more to life than work, no matter how rewarding, I am an avid mountain and road cyclist and I love cars and auto racing, having raced with the Sports Car Club of America. (And yet my concern for the environment conflicts with this love of cars.) My core believe is that life lived authentically is often filled with such contradictions and that they are both humbling and strangely energizing.
People who have inspired me: The Dali Lama, Martin Luther King, Gandhi, Thomas Merton, Carl Rodgers, Carl Jung, Viktor Frankel, Mother Theresa, Hildegarde of Bingen, Paul Newman (philanthropist, race car driver).
