I practice spiritually oriented psychotherapy drawing on contemporary psychotherapeutic training, 20 years in ministry and personal meditation practice.
My education includes a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School, a master’s degree in Divinity from Yale, and a master’s in Public Administration from Northeastern University. My undergraduate degree is from Hampshire College.
Therapy is a unique type of relationship. You are the expert on you and there are many and various ways to uncover what you may already know. In therapy our common interest is your wellbeing as it manifests in the light and the dark of the burdens you carry; those inherited, those that may be unavoidable and those that are perhaps self-imposed. Deep listening and “unconditional positive regard” are key but I also give feedback and you’ll know where I stand, if I think it’s going to help you.
